About MATRAFOX
MATRAFOX is a brand and packaging design studio built on a simple belief: great packaging isn’t decoration. It’s decision architecture. Every color, every curve, every word on a label either earns the pick-up or it doesn’t.
The studio was founded by Cristian, a designer with 15 years of craft behind him and a decade of running his own skincare brand across four continents. That dual perspective, as a founder who shipped real products and as the designer behind work featured in Dieline, Pentawards, and Packaging of the World, shapes every project we take on.

The process
A process shaped by 15 years of building things that ship.
1/ Discovery & strategy
We start with your product, your market, and your gut feeling about where your brand should sit. From that conversation, we define positioning, naming direction, and visual territory. You’ll see two or three directions with clear rationale behind each, so the choice is yours but nothing is guesswork.
2/ Design & packaging
Identity, packaging structure, label design, all built as a system, not a collection of files. Everything is designed to work together across SKUs, sizes, and markets.
3/ 3D & content
Photoreal 3D renders, in-context scenes, launch visuals, all produced in-house. You get shelf-ready assets without booking a photographer, a studio, or a retoucher.
4/ Launch-ready delivery
Print-ready files, brand guidelines, social kits, e-commerce renders. Everything you need to go to market, organized, labeled, and ready to hand to your printer or dev team.
The backstory
Built by someone who knows the shelf from both sides.
Between 2010 and 2020, Cristian built and ran a direct-to-consumer skincare brand focused on anti-aging cosmetics. He did everything himself: product sourcing, packaging, website, email campaigns, ad creative, fulfillment.
The store shipped to customers across Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. That decade of running a real brand taught him more about what makes someone click “add to cart” than any design brief since.
It also revealed something most packaging designers never experience firsthand: the gap between what looks good in a mockup and what actually sells. A beautiful label that doesn’t communicate value in three seconds is just expensive wallpaper. That tension between craft and conversion is what drives everything MATRAFOX designs today.
Today, MATRAFOX brings that same founder’s perspective to every project, whether for brands about to launch, or brands ready to relaunch.
